Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) shines alongside Mount Rainier in the evening sky as both are reflected in Upper Tipsoo Lake in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) is a long-period comet that completes one orbit around the sun every 80,660 years. Mount Rainier, which has a summit of 14,411 feet (4,392 meters), is the highest mountain in Washington state and largest volcano in the Cascade Range.
