Vai Marere, Wall Detail, Mitiaro, Cook Islands

Vai Marere, a limestone cave containing a sulphur pool on Mitiaro, part of the cook islands, is also known as the healing waters because of its minerals. The island of Mitaro, also known as Nukuroa, was originally a volcano that became a coral atoll.
