Lesser Brain Coral, Aitutaki, Cook Islands

Lesser brain coral (Leptoria phrygia) grows at the edge of a shelf in the lagoon on Aitutaki in the Cook Islands. It is native to the Cook Islands and found on near shore reefs throughout French Polynesia and in east Africa.
