Aoraki, also known as Mount Cook, and the Fox Glacier are bathed in golden light at sunset as seen from Gillespies Beach in the Westland District on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Aoraki is the tallest mountain in New Zealand, with an elevation of 3,724 meters (12,218 feet).
